El Tamarindo Golf Resort is located midway between Puerto Vallarta and Manzanillo on the Costa Careyes (also commonly referred to as Costa Alegre). The Resort is about 31 miles north of the Manzanillo International Airport and about 132 miles south of Puerto Vallarta.

A host of airlines now offer daily service to Manzanillo International Airport during the high season, which runs from mid-December through early May. In what is considered the low-season (although weather in Costa Careyes is optimum year-round), most carriers reduce service to Manzanillo to a few times per week. Airlines that offer service to Manzanillo include Alaska Airlines, Aero Mexico, Aero California, Mexicana and Continental Airlines.


While travel through Manzanillo is the most convenient access to the Resort, regular flights are most abundant and frequent through Puerto Vallarta and the drive through the unique countryside is beautiful.

Once in Mexico, El Tamarindo Golf Resort offers ground service from both Puerto Vallarta and Manzanillo at an extra cost. Vehicles may also be rented at the airport through Avis and Budget car rentals.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM MANZANILLO:

Take the highway to Colima and continue towards Manzanillo. Follow the signs to Barra de Navidad and continue 7.5 kilometers north of Barra de Navidad towards Puerto Vallarta. Turn left at the sign for El Tamarindo Golf Resort.

 DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM PUERTO VALLARTA:

El Tamarindo is located about 180 kilometers south of Puerto Vallarta International Airport, via highway 200.
